Procrastinators, The Leaders Of TOMORROW!

PROCRASTINATION  (prə(ʊ)ˌkrastɪˈneɪʃ(ə)n)
noun
-the action of delaying or postponing something.
Few days back I posted my 8th article, ‘Number 4’ on the site, nilTHINKS crossed 2k views, and I got quite a good reaction from the readers! one of the most common reaction from my friends was, “Why dont you write frequently ?”
Well here, this blog is the answer !
And I’m sure what runs in your head after reading the last line, a lazy person taking so much effort to reply!! But wait , this article itself is an act of procrastination!! Because studying for semester examinations, 4 days prior is a day dream , yes actually a DAY DREAM when 5 days were left !
Lets first talk about Indians and procrastination!
Well, Indians hate procrastination, and I mean it.. In India the first lesson taught to a child is to speak mamma, followed by Physics, chemistry and maths for IIT JEE!!
Statistics says it, the most used quote in India is “kal kare so aaj kar, aaj kare so ab !”
It is also nominated for ‘your parent’s favorite dialogue award !!”
It is so widely used by parents that it comes second in most used sentences, of course after “Kal karenge !”
It seems procrastination is quite hyped these days. Well, why not, whatever Americans are good at is always a trend. But no, procrastination is not a new phenomenon, procrastination marks its birth to the very same date when first task was assigned in human history!!
One of the greatest president of United States once said;

“There are a thousand ways to move ahead but only one way to stand still !”
-Franklin Roosevelt
The procrastinators had their best laughter after hearing this, then they simply continued to scroll over the next post on facebook, one of the many ways to do nothing!

India’s beloved and former Prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh quoted Victor Hugo
“No power on earth can stop an idea whose time has come! ”
Probably, like coal scam and many things, Paaji was also unaware about the procrastination force!

To all the procrastinators who took the burden of reading this, I appreciate your efforts! I seriously do! I know its not easy being a procrastinator, Library books are always returned by huge fines, list of assignments always grow, parent’s scolding never end !!
But friends, you are the  leaders of TOMORROW , It is because of lazy people like you’ll we have automobiles, calculators and computers today!! you shape the world!
History is full of people who were procrastinators, Leonardo da vinci took 16 years to paint mona lisa, any guesses why? So keep the couch warm and continue living in the future, because  you, Mr procrastinator are the leader of tomorrow!!
